POOR MAN'S MAC & CHEESE
This recipe is delicious comfort food for those on a tight budget. It only takes 25 minutes to make, and will cost you about $8.
Serves 3
1 package of Annie's Organic Macaroni & Cheese Creamy Deluxe Elbow and Four Cheese Sauce
1 hot-dog
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
1-2 tablespoons of Sriracha (depending on how hot you like it)
handful of bread crumbs
handful of Parmesan Cheese
Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Boil 6 cups of water and follow the directions on the back of the box for the Mac & Cheese. While the noodles are cooking, slice the hot-dog into small 1/4 inch pieces and lightly brown in a pan on the stove. Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and then add the cooked noodles, cheese sauce, Dijon mustard, and Sriracha into a large casserole bowl that can go in the oven. Fold in the hot-dog. Sprinkle bread-crumbs and Parmesan Cheese on top. Bake in oven for about 12 -14 minutes until the bread crumbs are golden brown.

There are better ways to adulterate Annie's M&C. For example, add some grated sharp cheddar to the orange podwer, use cream of half'n'half instead of milk. Add some frozen peas and canned tuna.
And $8? The M&C is only about $2.

I don't understand why a "poor man" would buy a packaged mac and cheese when you can make it from scratch so much cheaper!
$8 for three servings (in my house we'd be lucky to get two servings out of this!) is not very economical.
